Linda Spreitzer

As the principal of Knowledge Quest Academy I am fortunate to spend my day with not only the most wonderful children I could imagine, but also with an amazing staff that is tireless in their dedication to quality education. From the moment you open our school house door, you will feel the sense of community and purpose we share at KQA!

This year marks my 34th year in the education field. I am a graduate of Aims Community College and the University of Northern Colorado with degrees in Liberal Arts, Elementary Education, Educational Leadership, and Policy Studies. I am also a proud graduate of the Tointon Institute for Educational Change in their Principal Leadership Academy/Effective Leaders for Effective Schools program. To be a Tointon Scholar, you must first be nominated by a previous graduate. I have been in administration for 25 years, with this being my 15th year at KQA. I absolutely love our school community!

My husband, John, and I have four children. One thing students will tell you is that I love to talk about our many crazy pets – particularly the adventures of “Jinx” – our very quirky cat. In my free time I enjoy riding my horses, reading, camping, piano, theater, sewing, and spending lots of time with our extended family. Here’s to a GREAT year!

We are excited to announce that we have limited openings available in the following grades: 1st, 2nd, 6th, and 7th grades. This is a great opportunity for new students to join our school community and benefit from our excellent academic programs and supportive staff. Please don't hesitate to reach out for more information or to schedule a tour.
